Job Summary
Provide attentive, nurturing care for two children, ages 5 and 6, by planning engaging, age-appropriate activities including arts and crafts, imaginative play, and outdoor adventures. Foster a safe, positive environment that encourages creativity, independence, and learning through interactive play while supervising recreational activities. Maintain strict adherence to the household's dietary lifestyle, which is gluten-free, lactose-free, egg-free, and walnut-free. This temporary, live-out position in Carlsbad requires French language skills and approximately 20–30 hours per week starting ASAP. Candidates with a background in early childhood education, camps, or teaching are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- French language skills
- Advanced third-party background check
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Previous experience caring for young children
- Experience as a nanny, camp counselor, teacher, childcare provider, or similar role
- Warm, patient, and energetic personality
- Creative and enthusiastic about planning activities
