Job Summary
Teach up to three students simultaneously in interactive sessions covering English, French, math, and science from kindergarten to grade 11. Deliver lessons in-person using pre-planned Oxford Learning methodologies and maintain daily student communication updates. Complete post-lesson notes while managing a friendly, professional demeanor during evening and Saturday hours. Applicants must reside near Blainville, QC, and hold a CEGEP or bachelor's degree with relevant tutoring experience.
Required Qualifications
- CEGEP, Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
- Postsecondary students with extensive tutoring experience
- Good knowledge of the current Kindergarten to Grade 11 curriculum including math and science
- Some experience teaching/tutoring English, French, math and science at a Kindergarten to Grade 11 (or equivalent) level
- Strong English and French written and oral communication skills
- Strong math skills and ability to guide students' understanding
- Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time
- Vulnerable sector screening
- Applicants must reside in or within a short commute of the Blainville area
- Must be able to commute to this location
- This is not an online position
- Relocation packages are not available
- Commitment until the end of the school year

- Work during after-school and evening hours (4:00pm - 8:00pm)
