Job Summary
French language teacher delivering tailored, in-person French lessons to business professionals and their families in Saint-Bruno and Brossard. Responsibilities include delivering dynamic, effective lessons; developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency and goals; monitoring progress and guiding learners toward outcomes; and communicating professionally. This is a freelance/contract position with face-to-face sessions (2x per week, 1 hour each) at the student’s office or home. Anforderungen include native or near-native proficiency in French and a certificate or degree in language teaching or related field, with a minimum of two years of French teaching experience. Student’s current level is Novice with 18 hours of prior instruction; schedule typically Tue/Wed/Thu evenings, with locations at Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville and Brossard in QC, Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
- Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field
- Minimum of two years of French teaching experience
