Job Summary
Lead engaging after-school French sessions for small to mid-sized groups, delivering structured, student-centered instruction focused on speaking, listening, and basic reading/writing, with topics including greetings, numbers, time, vocabulary, and Francophone culture; maintain a safe, inclusive environment, track attendance, and deliver a culminating student project over ~10 weeks, with 1–4 hours per week and compensation of $50+ per instructional hour depending on experience and site.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 60 college credits (completed or in progress)
- Strong working proficiency in French
- Experience working with K–12 students (teaching, tutoring, camps, etc.)
- Strong classroom presence and ability to engage students
- Able to create fun, age-appropriate learning experiences
- Reliable, professional, and responsive
