Job Summary
The French Herald Issue Developer/Staff Editor is responsible for planning and producing the monthly Herald magazine in French, overseeing both print and online content. This role includes curating and supervising production, coordinating workflow, managing translations, and communicating with authors. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of the Bible, fluency in French, and the ability to engage with cultural and social dynamics relevant to French-speaking communities. A Bachelor's degree and 3-7 years of relevant experience in project management and editing is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Three to seven years of professional experience in project management, production, and editing or equivalent experience
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with the Herald fields
- Fluency in French
- Deep familiarity with the Bible and Mrs. Eddy’s writings
- Awareness of political, cultural, and social developments in French-speaking countries
Additional Requirements
- Membership in The Mother Church and Primary Class instruction required
- Branch church membership and/or active in the public practice of Christian Science desirable
