Job Summary
Provide remote virtual DL instruction in French to improve proficiency across listening, reading, and speaking (ILR 3/3/3), deliver regional/cultural instruction using modern blended-learning methods, develop and adapt lesson plans based on POI, assess and provide feedback on assignments, and collaborate with Site Lead and Language Instructional Developer to address curriculum gaps. Requires US citizenship, ability to conduct instruction virtually, and access to necessary hardware and internet; familiarity with platforms like CL-150 or Blackboard preferred. Location is remote with no travel.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizen
- Native or near-native capability in listening,reading, and speaking with ILR 3/3/3 or equivalent
- Experience providing foreign language instruction through a virtual environment
- Experience creating blended-learning lessons and tailoring materials
- Access to Windows computer, webcam, headset with microphone, internet
- Bachelors Degree
- Experience using online platforms such as CL-150 or Blackboard (desired)
