Job Summary
Freight & Logistics Coordinator for US-LTL focus: manage end-to-end heavy equipment/logistics operations including 5M+ freight volume, LTL shipments, BOL creation/auditing, and freight claims. Use GlobalTranz to quote/book shipments, lead freight claims to maximize capital recovery, coordinate with US-based factories, monitor carrier performance, and ensure 50% alignment with US Eastern Time while working remotely. Role emphasizes cost-efficiency, carrier accountability, and collaboration with factory teams.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in US-based LTL freight coordination
- Experience managing freight and small package claims from start to resolution
- Experience managing at least $5M in annual freight spend with focus on heavy equipment/high-value goods
- Advanced proficiency in GlobalTranz or comparable US Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
- Deep understanding of the Carmack Amendment, NMFC freight classifications, and US shipping laws governing claims and liability
- A self-starter who investigates discrepancies and pushes carriers for claim resolutions
- Exceptional English communication skills
- Must be able to work 100% US Business Hours (Night Shift) to provide real-time coordination with US factories and carriers
