Job Summary
Unload, sort, stage, and move furniture products safely while maintaining quality and productivity standards. Load, unload, and manually stack inventory from containers and trailers onto pallets using proper stacking techniques to ensure stability. Sort and stage inventory accurately based on shipping documentation, verify trailer suitability, and complete paperwork with precise inventory counts. Operate manual pallet jacks to move pallets safely within the warehouse and maintain a clean, organized environment. Adhere to all OSHA, MSDS, and safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and hazard reporting. This role requires a high level of physical stamina to lift up to 70 lbs continuously and work in a fast-paced warehouse setting. Piece rate pay of $0.65 per unit with guaranteed minimum wage.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 70 lbs continuously
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods
- Ability to exert significant physical effort, including core and lower back strength
