Job Summary
Cargo handlers load/unload freight from 53 ft trailers, operate scanners to track and maneuver freight, label boxes, and prepare freight for shipment. Use hand trucks/pallet jacks and forklifts to safely move freight, maintain a clean and safe workspace, and adhere to quality standards. Training provided; must be able to obtain forklift certification. Must be 18 or older and able to work a part-time schedule (Mon-Fri 1pm-6pm) with potential weekends/overtime. Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 or older
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 90 pounds occasionally
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification and operate forklift
- Ability to work weekends and overtime as needed
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Strong team player in fast-paced environment
