Job Summary
Freight Handler responsibilities include loading/unloading 53 ft trailers, operating handheld scanners, labeling and preparing freight for shipment, and safely using equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts. Must be able to lift up to 90 pounds (and up to 50 pounds regularly), obtain forklift certification, and work in a fast-paced dock setting with weekend/overtime flexibility. Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 or older
- Must be able to obtain forklift certification and operate forklift and other machinery as required
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Strong team player that thrives in a fast-paced environment
