Job Summary
Freight Handler responsible for loading and unloading freight from trailers using a forklift, pallet jack, and/or handcart; operate handheld scanners to track and document freight; identify, sticker, and stage inbound freight; verify freight condition to meet quality standards; pre-employment skills assessment required; safety-sensitive position; shift is 2:00 PM–10:30 PM; location Salt Lake City, UT; benefits include medical/dental/vision and 401(k).
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- At least six (6) months of verifiable forklift experience
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to ninety (90) pounds
- Successful completion of a pre-employment skills assessment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
