Freight Forwarder, Ocean Import

Freight Forwarder, Ocean Import responsible for managing ocean-import processes including customs clearance, carrier booking, cargo tracking, and documentation for timely delivery. Coordinates with carriers, customs brokers and trucking companies; ensures compliance with customs regulations and trade laws; communicates with customers and third parties; supports import/export activities and prepares required paperwork. Must have strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of ocean freight logistics and relevant software. Fluency in English and proficiency with Microsoft Office and logistics systems are preferred; prior experience in freight forwarding or logistics is desirable. At-will employment with base pay hourly in the stated range.
