Freight Forwarder, Ocean Import

Freight Forwarder Ocean Import is responsible for managing the importation and exportation of goods by ocean, including customs clearance, carrier booking, cargo tracking, documentation, and delivery or pickup, with coordination among carriers, customs brokers, and trucking companies to ensure timely, compliant delivery. Requires ability to prepare and process documentation (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading), track shipments, communicate with customers and third-party providers, and maintain knowledge of ocean freight logistics and applicable trade laws. Strong organizational, time-management and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. Fluency in English and familiarity with logistics software and Microsoft Office are desired.
