Job Summary
Air Export Gateway Freight Forwarder responsible for managing and coordinating air export shipments from the gateway facility. Duties include booking cargo space, arranging pick-ups, coordinating with carriers and airlines, preparing export documentation (air waybills, invoices, packing lists), ensuring regulatory compliance and timely delivery to international destinations, facilitating customs clearance, tracking shipments, maintaining accurate data, liaising with carriers and clients, and identifying process improvements to enhance service quality in air export operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, international business, or a related field preferred
- 2-3 years of experience in freight forwarding, air export operations, or international logistics, with specific experience in air freight preferred
- Strong knowledge of air freight operations, international trade regulations, and customs procedures
- Proficiency in using freight forwarding software and systems (e.g., CargoWise, CHAMP Cargosystems)
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities
