Job Summary
Safely operate a DZ-class commercial vehicle to transport and deliver products to customer locations while loading and unloading deliveries as required. Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections, maintain delivery documentation and logs, and report maintenance issues, accidents, or delays promptly. Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule while following company policies, safety procedures, and Ministry of Transportation regulations. Provide professional and courteous service to customers and maintain a clean, organized vehicle. A valid DZ Driver's License with a clean abstract and minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience are required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid DZ Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Strong knowledge of local roads and delivery routes
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-oriented
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb in and out of the vehicle throughout the day
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Previous food distribution or warehouse delivery experience
- Experience operating lift gates, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment
