Job Summary
Freight & Distribution Manager in Tokyo leads 3PL distribution center activities, supervises Abbott F&D and 3PL staff, and oversees shipping, receiving, inventory control and delivery of finished goods and hardware. Responsibilities include budget and project planning, ERP/SAP or WMS implementation, evaluating warehousing processes, driving productivity and cost improvements, managing transportation programs, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance (QMS/EMS), supporting SOX audits, and collaborating on cross-functional/global APAC projects to support the Commercial Team and customers. Requires 4-year degree (or equivalent) in a related field, 5+ years in regulated warehousing with supervisory experience, ERP/WMS experience, and strong English communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- 4 year college degree or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in highly regulated warehousing environment
- 5+ years of supervisory experience
- ERP/WMS interfacing experience
- TOEIC 750+ or equivalent English communication skills
