Job Summary
Compare and verify merchandise invoices against received items, check freight packing slips, and process transfers through the register. Fold merchandise into appropriate boxes, apply Sensormatic tags, and hang or fold items for the sales floor. Make FedEx labels, sort packages by transit time, and send alterations, layaways, or special orders to guests. Maintain shipment paperwork, file discrepancies, keep supplies stocked, and organize fixtures while ensuring a clean work area. Recognize and report security risks or policy violations to management. Work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends, and the day of/day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, based upon store and business needs
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs throughout the store and backroom
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
