Job Summary
Compare and verify merchandise invoices against received items, check packing slips, and make FedEx labels for shipments. Send alterations and special orders to guests, process store transfers, and file non-error discrepancies. Fold and pack merchandise for proper presentation, place Sensormatic tags, and hang items for the sales floor. Maintain shipment paperwork, organize fixtures and shelving, and keep the work area neat and clean. Recognize and report security risks or policy violations to management. Work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays, lifting up to 50 lbs. No prior experience required; applicants must be 18 or older.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs throughout the store and backroom
- Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends, and the day of/day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, based upon store and business needs
- Develop and maintain knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) software
- Ability to recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations
