Job Summary
Maintain sanitation and cleanliness across the facility, including hallways, breakrooms, offices, and freezer areas, while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. Operate cleaning equipment and pallet jacks (electric if available), perform general facility maintenance, remove ice and debris, stock cleaning supplies, and assist with equipment upkeep. Requires ability to work in cold and hot storage areas, lift 20 lbs+, follow instructions in the local language, and be flexible with shift scheduling. Emphasis on safe handling of cleaning chemicals, adherence to PPE protocols, and collaboration with team members to meet daily cleanliness and safety goals.
Required Qualifications
- Operate floor cleaning equipment and pallet jacks
- Comfortable handling cleaning chemicals
- Basic math skills
- Ability to understand instructions in the country’s official language
- Ability to work in temperatures from -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius while wearing PPE and freezer gear
- Lift a minimum of 20 lbs (9 kg)
- Flexible work schedule including weekends if needed
- Ability to work in a noisy environment at times
