Job Summary
Freelance Translator for Haitian Creole needed to translate documents between English and Haitian Creole. Remote-based position available anywhere within the United States. Responsibilities include accurate, high-quality translation of official documents in both directions (English→Haitian Creole and Haitian Creole→English). Requirements: ATA certification or a university degree in Language Translation or Applied Linguistics, plus a minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience providing official document translations. Proficiency with Microsoft and Adobe Suite is required. This is a contractor role open to US-based freelancers.
Required Qualifications
- Be certified by the American Translators Association (ATA) or equivalent reputable association(s); OR Have obtained a university degree in Language Translation or Applied Linguistics; AND Have a minimum of 3 years verifiable experience providing official document translations
- Must be proficient with Microsoft and Adobe Suite
- Must be in the United States
