Freelance Scientific Director - Medical Education (Oncology)

Job Summary
Lead planning, development, and oversight of scientific content for assigned accounts across oncology and other therapeutic areas. Collaborate with the Group Scientific Director to provide strategic medical communication recommendations supporting brand goals, while independently executing content development activities. Liaise with in-house or freelance staff to manage writing tasks, including background research, data-checking, and reference annotation. Requires an advanced science degree, five+ years of promotional medical education experience, and proficiency in AMA style and ethical guidelines. Candidates must demonstrate strong organizational skills to analyze scientific data, multitask, and manage projects within tight deadlines with limited direction.
Required Qualifications
- An advanced degree in science
- 5 or more years of relevant job experience with promotional medical education and/or medical affairs content
- demonstrated organizational, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills
