Job Summary
Log hockey and basketball games identifying highlights, research statistical information and storylines, and work as a Production Assistant/Runner during game telecasts. Support the Feature Producer during remote ENG shoots and edits, and provide exceptional experiences for guests, partners, and team members by adhering to appearance and presentation guidelines. This role requires extensive knowledge of NBA and NHL sports, familiarity with television production operations, and the ability to work under pressure while operating control devices for long periods. Availability includes weeknights, weekends, and holiday shifts. Hourly pay ranges from $19 to $19 USD.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of sports, with an emphasis on both the NBA and NHL
- Knowledge of television production operations
- Ability to work under pressure and collaboratively within a team environment
- Availability to work weeknights, weekends, and holiday shifts
- Ability to sit for long periods at a monitor and operate control devices and software
- Proficient in MS Office programs, e.g. Excel and Word
