Job Summary
Design high-stakes pitch decks and professional one-pagers by translating complex data into clear visual storytelling with minimalism and precise information hierarchy. Elevate deliverables using custom fonts, elegant animations, and perfect visual consistency while enforcing a polished, premium corporate-meets-creative style. Execute formatting quality standards through meticulous validation of alignment, pacing, and brand adherence before final delivery. This freelance part-time role supports the Tendem project, connecting specialists with AI technology initiatives. Contributors work on their own schedule, estimating 10–20 hours weekly during active phases, with compensation up to $40 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in graphic design, presentation design, visual storytelling, or data visualization
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or related creative fields
- Candidates must have a strong portfolio featuring high-end presentations, pitch decks, and data visualization
- A methodical, detail-oriented approach
- The ability to work independently to transform complex narratives into premium visuals
- Expertise in PowerPoint, Keynote, etc., for building complex, dynamic, and perfectly animated decks
- Deep proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) or Figma to create custom graphics and layouts
- Ability to translate complex data and multi-level hierarchical structures into clear, minimalist visual storytelling
- Advanced skills in working with custom fonts and smooth, elegant animations for premium deliverables
- Hands-on experience creating high-end, premium corporate-meets-creative style layouts
- Strong attention to detail and absolute commitment to visual perfectness
- Self-directed work ethic with the ability to troubleshoot design challenges independently
- English proficiency: Upper-intermediate (B2) or above
