Job Summary
Design high-stakes pitch decks and professional one-pagers by translating complex data into clear visual storytelling with minimalism and precise information hierarchy. Elevate presentations using custom fonts, elegant animations, and perfect visual consistency while enforcing a polished, persuasive, corporate-meets-creative style across all deliverables. Execute formatting quality standards through meticulous validation of visual alignment, pacing, and brand adherence before final delivery. Apply expertise in PowerPoint, Keynote, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma to create polished, presentation-ready work. On-call rotation applies only during active project phases, with estimated tasks requiring 10–20 hours per week. Contributors earn up to $50 per hour equivalent based on level and pace. This freelance role supports the Tendem project, connecting specialists with innovative AI technology initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in graphic design, presentation design, visual storytelling, or data visualization
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or related creative fields
- Candidates must have a strong portfolio featuring high-end presentations, pitch decks, and data visualization
- A methodical, detail-oriented approach
- The ability to work independently to transform complex narratives into premium visuals
- Expertise in PowerPoint, Keynote, etc., for building complex, dynamic, and perfectly animated decks
- Deep proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) or Figma to create custom graphics and layouts
- Ability to translate complex data and multi-level hierarchical structures into clear, minimalist visual storytelling
- Advanced skills in working with custom fonts and smooth, elegant animations for premium deliverables
- Hands-on experience creating high-end, premium corporate-meets-creative style layouts
- Strong attention to detail and absolute commitment to visual perfectness
- Self-directed work ethic with the ability to troubleshoot design challenges independently
- English proficiency: Upper-intermediate (B2) or above
