Job Summary
Freelance News Producer based in Washington, DC, responsible for sourcing video news content and writing accompanying scripts for Eurovision News Americas. Will work on the Eurovision News Exchange covering the Americas, coordinate with Geneva and third parties, perform basic video and audio editing, and operate broadcasting/IT equipment. Requires strong news judgment, at least 3 years of journalism experience in TV, radio, or digital newsrooms, proficiency with broadcasting news technology, understanding of journalistic ethics and copyright, and the ability to work with international teams. Evening and weekend shifts are required; role is in-person at the Washington, DC office near Dupont Circle. English required; a second language is preferred. Education: Bachelor’s degree desired but not required.
