Job Summary
Freelance Mobile App Developer for Tendem project responsible for designing, building, and refining cross-platform mobile apps (iOS/Android) using React Native, Flutter, Swift, or Kotlin. Responsibilities include implementing responsive UIs per platform conventions, integrating native device features and backend APIs, handling offline state and data synchronization, implementing monetization features (in-app purchases, ads, or subscriptions), evaluating AI-generated mobile code and refactoring for correctness and performance, and debugging to prepare builds for distribution (TestFlight, Play Console). Requires hands-on experience shipping mobile apps, strong UI/UX pattern knowledge, and the ability to work independently on a part-time remote basis. Portfolio of shipped apps is required; English proficiency (B2+) is required. Compensation up to $60/hour, fully remote across multiple countries.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of mobile app development experience
- Portfolio of shipped mobile apps (required) with App Store / Google Play links preferred
- Strong experience with React Native, Flutter, Swift, or Kotlin
- Experience integrating REST APIs and backend services (Firebase, Supabase or similar)
- Ability to work independently and ship features end-to-end
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in computer science or related fields is a plus
