Job Summary
Localization Specialist to localize KAYAK products and content; translate, review, and edit content across landing pages, blogs, newsletters, SEO content, social media, and marketing materials; conduct LQA and functionality checks; maintain language resources like style guides and glossaries; contribute to localization of new features and marketing campaigns; remote freelance role with potential increased involvement on future projects; strong linguistic and copywriting skills, experience with translation management systems and SEO, and a quick learner comfortable with technology; candidates will be invited to complete a short test as part of the selection process.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in the target language at native level (required)
- Strong verbal and written command of English
- Proven experience in website/app localization and translation
- Experience using Translation Management Systems
- A flair for creative translation and copywriting
- Familiarity with SEO
- Background in LQA
- Relevant academic or professional background in communication, marketing, translation, linguistics, or related fields
