Job Summary
Coordinate all logistics for in-person events by leading setup, managing check-in processes, and ensuring high-quality customer experiences on-site. Align with onsite teams, corporate partners, and nonprofit organizations while solving problems related to missing supplies, late staff, or technology challenges. Execute day-of responsibilities including site teardown, cleaning, repacking materials, and shipping supplies back to the distribution center. Send consistent updates, photos, and videos to the Events Team throughout the event duration. Work flexible hours including nights and weekends, with the ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods. This freelance role supports Visit.org's global volunteering mission by facilitating team-building and social impact activities for companies like Amazon and Cisco.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in English
- Strong communication skills
- Based in Pedro Escobedo, Querétaro, Mexico or nearby areas
- Schedule flexibility with availability to work on a contract per-event basis, as needed
- Experience in complex, large-scale events and smaller executive-level intimate events
- Shown experience in executing events at the highest level and continuously raising the bar on content and the customer experience
