Job Summary
Freelance In-Person Event Host in Secunderabad, India on a per-event contract. Host impactful, engaging, team-building social impact events, welcome and inspire participants, present events in partnership with a nonprofit or lead the event, and guide volunteers through engaging activities. Requires English fluency, prior event-hosting/facilitation/emcee experience, strong public speaking and storytelling ability, high energy, problem-solving on the fly, and comfort engaging large and small groups. Availability for 1-4 prep meetings prior to events; role is on-site and contract-based per event.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in English
- Based in Secunderabad, India
- Availability to work on a contract per event basis, including prep time
- Strong experience in event Hosting, Facilitation, and emceeing is required
- Comfortable interacting with both large groups of people and small groups or one-on-one, keeping the events flowing and the participants engaged
- Easy conversationalists with lots of energy, a charismatic personality, and a sense of fun
- Experience with group facilitation and managing group dynamics
- Storyteller, High energy, and a positive attitude
- Quick thinker—problem-solve on the fly
- Extremely comfortable with and enjoys public speaking
- Excellent customer service and presentation skills
