Job Summary
Design tops styles by sketching silhouettes, selecting fabrics, and assorting plaids and colors into final styles. Create detail callouts, hand off pages, and generate PowerPoint line sheets for milestone meetings. Manage lab dips, color, and wash panel comments while developing trim elements like buttons, labels, and embroideries using Adobe Illustrator. Organize samples and racks to support the collection build. This part-time freelance role requires 20 hours weekly onsite at HQ in Greensboro, NC. Candidates must possess an eye for color and experience building collections with prints and plaids.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in fashion or apparel design
- Experience building collections
- Experience with prints and plaids
- Need to have an 'eye for color'
- This position will be a part-time freelance role at 20 hours a week
- This person will be required to be onsite at our HQ in Greensboro, NC
