Freelance Community & Influencer Manager

Job Summary
Freelance contractor to grow and sustain Kinn Studio's community and creator ecosystem at ~10-15 hours/week. Responsibilities span end-to-end community management (DMs, comments, customer touchpoints), building authentic relationships with followers, clients, and brand advocates, surface insights for the Head of Brand, and supporting influencer/UGC programs. Manage creator partnerships from outreach and gifting through briefing, content collection, usage rights, and long-term collaboration, building a pipeline of creators and tastemakers aligned with the luxury fashion/jewelry brand. Proactively identify opportunities to secure creator imagery for multi-channel use, handle content requests and deadlines, and help coordinate activations for pop-ups, events, and in-store moments. Track performance and provide insights to inform strategy, ensuring brand voice and tone are consistently applied. Requires prior 4–6 years in community/influencer management, fluency in influencer strategy, high emotional intelligence, a proven track record with engaged communities, and comfort managing creator programs that generate high-quality UGC and brand assets. Located in or able to work from Los Angeles, with on-site presence at the LA office, on-set, and in-store moments.
Required Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in community and/or influencer management for a brand
- experience in fashion, beauty, or luxury
- high emotional intelligence and judgment
- proven track record of building highly engaged communities and trusted creator relationships
- experience building and managing creator programs that generate high-quality UGC and brand assets
- ability to manage creator partnerships from outreach to briefing, content collection, usage rights, and long-term relationships
- strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to protect brand voice and tone
- ability to manage gifting, seeding, and spend with professionalism and attention to detail
- experience coordinating events and in-store activations to support community and creator initiatives
- data-driven mindset with ability to report insights and recommendations to leadership
