Job Summary
Freelance Clinical Device Specialist providing on-site technical support during clinical study procedures, including device preparation, console operation, and equipment logistics, while adhering to study protocols. Part-time commitment of approximately 1–2 days per week (0.2–0.4 FTE over 12 months) dedicated to one sponsor within a global pharmaceutical/biotech setting. Responsibilities include device preparation, inspection and testing, setup of console and accessories, operation of the device console during procedures, limited troubleshooting, post-procedure activities, and management of equipment logistics. Qualifications include background in nursing, biomedical, clinical, or technical field; experience with medical devices in clinical/research environments; familiarity with sterile/aseptic techniques; strong attention to detail; fluency in local language and English; valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between sites. Location noted as Porto, Portugal; on-site role with travel between sites in the region.
