Free Standing ER Registered Nurse RN

ER Registered Nurse in a Free Standing Emergency Room responsible for triage, assessment, and treatment of patients of all ages presenting for emergency care. Responsibilities include documenting nursing notes reflecting condition changes, transferring and discharging patients, administering medications per physician orders, handling telephone triage when needed, coordinating and triaging ambulance traffic, collaborating with the ED attending, using the Emergency Severity Index 5-level triage algorithm, serving as a resource for trauma, educating patients and families about medications and procedures, and contributing to efficient throughput across care zones (triage, rapid treatment area, carepath, pediatric ER, trauma, behavioral health). Requires 12-hour shifts, full-time status, and compliance with BLS/ACLS/PALS timelines. Located in Jacksonville, FL.
