Job Summary
Observe residents in assigned units, report health issues to supervising nurses, and provide personal care including bed baths, shaving, and grooming. Set up meal trays, document food and fluid intake, feed residents, and maintain clean, tidy environments. Transport residents within the facility and maintain confidentiality of all resident and facility data. Complete the sponsored CNA program to earn valid NY State certification, then transition into a CNA position at Slate Valley Center. Daily pay is available through a trusted third-party provider.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of the sponsored CNA program
- Valid NY State CNA certification
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be in good standing with State Registry
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
