FRCPS Lead Family Support Specialist

Job Summary
Maintain a limited caseload to provide direct family support, including assessments, service planning, resource coordination, and progress monitoring. Serve as the primary operational resource for the FRCPS team, managing backup coverage, case documentation review, and troubleshooting engagement barriers. Coordinate daily communication with South Carolina Department of Social Services partners, attend joint meetings, and resolve coordination issues. Develop community resource guides, facilitate warm handoffs between agencies, and assist staff with challenging home visits or new employee onboarding. Identify recurring operational trends and barriers to strengthen program workflows and service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Master's degree in a related field
- 1+ year of experience
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to transport clients
- Flexibility to work evenings
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends
- Licensure as required by state law
- Ability and willingness to carry a limited caseload
