Job Summary
Handle all Firm's Fraud and Dispute claims in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and client directives. Review correspondence to ensure database accuracy for proper client reporting, then draft applicable responses for attorney approval. Pull work queues to promptly review pending claims, upload relevant information via client portals or email, and report claims as necessary. Perform general clerical duties including data entry, scanning, photocopying, collating, and faxing while working with attorneys and clients to properly manage disputes. This position may have remote availability with some office time, depending on Manager/Director/Human Resources approval. The Firm is a multi-state litigation law firm representing creditors in all aspects of the legal collection process.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent GED
- Legal field certificate/2-yr degree (experience may be substituted for education)
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience with basic office hardware such as scanners, fax machine, copiers, etc.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to Detail
- Superior problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and dependability
- Responsible individual who is able to work both independently and in a team environment
- Travel into office to complete work as needed
- Position might have the availability to work remotely with some office time, depending upon Manager/Director/Human Resources approval
Desired Qualifications
- Background in Retail Claims and Creditors' Rights Laws preferred
