Job Summary
Fraud Strategy Analyst II with a focus on debit card fraud analytics, responsible for developing and implementing strategies to detect, prevent, and mitigate fraud. Role involves analyzing transaction data, identifying emerging fraud patterns, building data-driven solutions using techniques like predictive analysis, pattern recognition, and machine learning, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to minimize losses. Requires knowledge of financial crimes, data preparation, modeling, visualization (PowerBI/Tableau), and programming (Python, SAS). Includes hybrid/remote eligibility within the continental US with occasional travel and on-site requirements for near-office staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant education and/or experience
- 2 years of experience in financial crimes supporting and participating in stakeholder consultation, needs assessment, requirement translation and prescription of technology solutions
- 2+ years in card fraud analytics area in financial industry
- 2+ years of experience in coding fraud rules in one of the main rule management systems (Falcon, VRM, Broadcom, SAS Raptor)
- Knowledge of data analysis tools, data visualization, developing analysis queries and procedures in SQL, SAS, BI tools or other analysis software
- Knowledge of bank laws and regulations related to money movement and /or payments (Reg E, Reg CC, UDAAP, FACTA, Reg Z)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
