Job Summary
Fraud Operations Investigator responsibilities include handling live WhatsApp-based chats with customers, reviewing and deciding on declined transactions in real time, meeting SLA/QA targets, and documenting case information. You will lead in-depth investigations into suspicious activities, build and file chargeback disputes with card networks, gather evidence for representment, and collaborate with risk, compliance, and customer support teams to refine fraud detection workflows. The role requires sharpness under pressure, customer focus, and the ability to work night shifts and weekends when needed; prior exposure to remittance, fintech, fraud, or customer support environments and strong written English are valued.
Required Qualifications
- Recent graduate from any Business Major
- Fluent English (oral & written)
- Availability for night shifts and weekends may be required based on business needs
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various schedules
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, chat-based operational environment with SLA and QA accountability
- Basic knowledge of remittance, fintech, fraud, chargeback or customer support environments
- Experience with G Suite products
- Strong communication skills — you will be writing to real customers, every day
- Detail-oriented and able to make sound judgment calls under time pressure
- Friendly, empathetic, and professional customer-facing demeanor
