Job Summary

Fraud & Forensics Experienced Professional at PwC Greece Athens. Join the Deals, Fraud & Forensics team as an Experienced Associate/Senior Associate to work on high-impact forensic investigations (e.g., financial statement fraud, asset misappropriation, procurement fraud, bribery and corruption, anti-competitive behavior), e-Discovery (acquisition, processing, review of electronically stored information), quantification of damages and claims, post-closing Reviews in M&A, and disputes/arbitrations. Role includes conducting interviews, client meetings, coaching junior staff, collaborating with PwC colleagues globally, assisting in pitches, and contributing to product development for client engagements. Requires 3-6 years of relevant Big-4/mid-tier experience, a bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in a related field, professional qualifications (ACA/ACCA/CFECIA) preferred, strong MS Office and data analytics interest, and fluency in English and Greek. Hybrid work arrangement in Athens, Greece with opportunities for local/global development and growth.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Accounting and Finance, Forensic Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration or related field
  • ACA, ACCA, CFE, CIA or equivalent qualification considered an asset; enrollment post-hiring if not in process
  • Between 3-6 years working experience in a Big-4 or mid-tier professional services firm in Forensic Investigations and Dispute Resolution, Statutory/Tax Audit or Internal Audit, Business Recovery Services or related offerings
  • Excellent academic track record
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and familiarity with Power BI tools (Power Query, Power Pivot, BI, Alteryx)
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Greek (verbal and written)
  • Experience in fraud investigations or design and testing of controls to prevent fraud risk is an asset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good report writing and data analysis skills
  • Ability to coach more junior team members
  • Understanding of financial risks, business processes, and internal controls
  • Military service fulfilled where required
