Job Summary
Fraud Dispute Analyst in a high-volume hybrid environment based in Brentwood, TN. Responsibilities include analyzing dispute cases and supporting documentation to determine valid disputes, deciding chargeback eligibility to merchants, developing conclusions from analyses, assisting the Chargeback Team to process chargebacks timely, coordinating with support teams to ensure timely customer credit, ensuring Reg E disputes and notifications are processed accurately, maintaining dispute and chargeback inventory, collaborating with Fraud Risk Team to monitor and remediate fraud trends, evaluating work methods for improvements, assisting in trending/forecasting fraud across financial portfolios, and reporting transactions to the MasterCard tool for SAFE and Stand-In purposes. Qualifications emphasize strong Excel skills, attention to detail, customer service experience, and the ability to work in a hybrid schedule with in-office days.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma with 1+ years customer service and card processing experience
- Experience in fraud analysis and detection is a plus
- OpenWay/Prepaid, Comdata Proprietary and MasterCard platform experience preferred, but not required
- Must be detail oriented with great analytical skills
- Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize with priorities that change quickly
- Must have excellent organizational skills to manage the inflow of new issues and manage items that are not immediately resolved
- Must possess good communication skills, written and verbal
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be able to work the following shift/schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
