Frankenmuth Michigan Seeking Hospice Companion Volunteers (Non-Paid)

Sitting bedside with hospice patients in nursing facilities and providing caregiver relief inside private residences. Deliver pet therapy visits using licensed dogs and play guitar for patients. Support families through bereavement volunteer calls and assist with grief groups remotely. Pre-med students may utilize this role to learn about gerontology patient care. Volunteers must be 18+ and willing to submit TB and drug tests and be fingerprinted. No healthcare experience required.
