Job Summary
Franchisee in Training program in Northwest New Brunswick seeking entrepreneurial leaders to grow into store owners through hands-on training, mentorship, and cross-region exposure. Responsibilities include in-class training modules, on-the-job learning, shadowing current franchisees, and developing skills in store management, staff leadership, administration and reporting, and community engagement. Candidates should have a university/college certification in Business Administration, Retail Management, Operations Management, or equivalent retail experience (minimum 3 years in retail with at least 1 year in a supervisory role), and demonstrated coaching, communication, planning, and organizational abilities. Travel within the region and occasional overnight travel to the Home Office in Ottawa are required. Bilingualism in French and English is an asset, with strong emphasis on customer experience and leadership development across Canadian communities.
Required Qualifications
- University or College certification in Business Administration, Retail Management, Operations Manager, or related field or equivalent retail experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Ability to coach and lead teams; strong communication skills; planning and organizational skills
- Strong basic computer skills; willingness to learn new software and GT procedures
- Bilingualism in French and English assets; French is required in the French-speaking provinces/regions (asset)
- Experience in mentoring or mentorship programs and ability to engage with community initiatives
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region and occasional overnight travel to Home Office in Ottawa
