Job Summary
Franchise Paralegal supporting domestic franchise regulatory compliance and business development legal services. Responsibilities include data gathering and information tracking for domestic FDD renewals, amendments and exemption filings; drafting and managing default notices, amendments, addenda and termination/lending/notice-related documents; managing requests for third-party franchise information (e.g., securitization audits, lender documentation, SBA items); maintaining filing for franchise legal files; supporting senior counsel and franchise counsel in compliance processes and related special projects, including use of historic franchise agreement forms and drafting of unique agreement/amendment/notice drafts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Legal Assistant Education or paralegal certification/experience
- Notary Public
- 2-4 years’ work experience in legal paralegal or equivalent legal administrative position
