Job Summary
Teach courses in modern European Jewish history (1750–present) and at least one course annually on the Holocaust. Design and deliver student-centered instruction while mentoring undergraduates and fostering an inclusive learning environment. Contribute to public-facing programs related to the Holocaust supported by an endowment fund. Advance the educational mission of the College of Letters and Science through research, service, and departmental collaboration. Submit application materials including a cover letter, writing sample, and two course syllabi by September 24, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in history
- Proficiency in the language(s) of their region of study
- Demonstrate the ability to foster a teaching, learning, mentoring, departmental, and a research environment where all can thrive

- Hold teaching positions
- Recent Ph.D.s
