Job Summary
Build trusted relationships with customers by actively listening, engaging in conversation, and demonstrating genuine care while addressing inquiries and resolving issues. Educate clients on fragrance families and scent profiles to help them discover and select the perfect product for any occasion, offering expert recommendations and samples. Stay up to date with the latest launches and brand stories to deliver accurate advice, while serving as a go-to professional for peer coaching within the team. Represent the luxury beauty retailer with pride by embodying brand values through personal grooming and style, and attend external brand events to maintain current industry knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in the fragrance industry
- High school diploma or equivalent
- In-depth knowledge of different fragrance families, notes, and scents
- Exceptional active listening, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and inspired, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Desired Qualifications
- Have in-depth knowledge of the luxury beauty market, including emerging trends and customer preferences
- Have previous experience including coaching/mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets
- Have clienteling experience
- Are a self-care and wellness ambassador
