Job Summary
Serve as the embedded CFO for a portfolio of SMB clients ($10M–$100M revenue), executing ProCFO's financial framework and service delivery standards. Partner with business owners to strengthen financial decision-making, cash flow, and growth strategy while reporting monthly on client outcomes. Collaborate actively with fellow CFOs through peer forums and maintain clear communication with both clients and the internal team. This independent contractor role requires senior financial leadership experience, a track record of building trusted relationships, and the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously. Based in Long Island, NY, you will leverage your expertise within a structured, part-time engagement model supported by pipeline resources and a collaborative peer network.
Required Qualifications
- Senior financial leadership experience, including prior CFO or equivalent roles
- A track record of building trusted relationships with business owners and leadership teams
- Strong ability to simplify complex financial concepts for non-finance audiences
- Comfort managing multiple client engagements simultaneously
- A large professional network in your regional market
