Job Summary
Design scalable architecture for enterprise search and knowledge discovery using Glean's hybrid search capabilities and knowledge-graph techniques. Orchestrate intelligent agents to automate tasks like request routing and information summarization via event-driven triggers. Integrate the platform's data sources through APIs, connectors, and custom code to build secure data pipelines and ETL processes. Implement enterprise-grade security, define data governance policies, and enforce compliance standards including SOC 2, GDPR, and HIPAA. Serve as a technical liaison between business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to translate requirements into specifications and guide development.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in technical architecture or engineering leadership
- expertise in enterprise search, knowledge management, or data platforms
- Hands-on experience with Glean Work AI (Search, Assistant, Agents) or similar enterprise search/AI assistant platforms
- Familiarity with hybrid search (semantic + lexical), knowledge graphs, and AI agent frameworks
- Proficiency with REST APIs, webhooks, and ETL/ELT pipelines
- Experience with modern data/storage systems (cloud storage, databases, CRM, collaboration tools) and their security models
- Strong understanding of enterprise security, identity management, encryption, and compliance standards (SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA)
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fractional, consulting capacity with minimal oversight
- Experience with semantic search, knowledge graphs, or retrieval-based systems
