Job Summary
Provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients of all ages, including history-taking, diagnosis, treatment, and referrals. Manage chronic diseases per national guidelines, administer vaccinations, and order diagnostic tests as required. Collaborate with specialists, allied health professionals, and nursing staff while maintaining accurate, confidential records using medical software. Ensure high standards of patient safety, infection control, and quality care. Deliver after-hours coverage on a rotating roster. Join an established, expanding medical practice in Rockhampton offering a five-day workweek with no after-hours calls during the day.
Required Qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner
- Expedited Pathway GPs from UK and Ireland and New Zealand
- Overseas GPs that have been assessed by RACGP as partially or substantially comparable
- MRCGP+CCT UK from 2007 onwards
- MICGP+CSCST (Ireland from 2009 onwards)
- FRNZCGP New Zealand (from 2012 onwards)
- After hours on call with rotating roster
Desired Qualifications
- Vocational Recognition (Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM preferred) or eligibility
