Job Summary
Administer chemicals to treat water conditions at Frac locations, catch samples, and record inventory while acting as the sole on-site ambassador. Load trailers to replenish inventory, operate Frac injection trailers, and perform daily mechanical inspections to maintain safe equipment conditions. Navigate job sites via oilfield directions, wear required PPE, and maintain regular communication with sales to report field problems or safety hazards. Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and avoid hazards while keeping current on safety techniques.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum high school graduate or GED
- Current Class C Driver's License, issued by the state in which the candidate resides
- Acceptable motor vehicle record (3 years)
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam
- Must be able to pass Pulmonary Function Test & wear respirator
- Be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50lbs
- Travel to other locations as needs
- Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with the operation of forklifts, drum dollies, trailer hoists, chemical pumps, hoses, meters, printers and gauges
- Experience with handling products in various types of packages including bulk, drums, Stainless Steel totes or IBCs
- Experience in customer relations
- Experience performing warehouse duties, which include preventative maintenance duties, inventory and ordering of chemicals, receiving incoming shipments, organizing warehouse for safe and efficient chemical storage, operation of customized chemical manufacturing equipment and the upkeep of warehouse grounds
- Awareness of chemical safety and the measures to take in the event of skin contact or spill
- Mechanically inclined
- Prior ChampionX Experience
