Job Summary
FPGA Engineer with DSP Emphasis design, implement, test, and integrate high-speed FPGA designs incorporating DSP algorithms; work with digital logic and FPGA devices using VHDL (preferred) or Verilog; candidate should have strong communication skills, initiative, and ownership of work with an entrepreneurial mindset; required to hold or pursue Top Secret with SCI clearance; Bachelor of Science in EE or CE (3+ years experience) with coursework in digital circuit design or VLSI; proficiency in Python/C/C++, Linux, and familiarity with Git/Clearcase/Bitbucket; knowledge of DSP, digital communications, and stochastic signal processing; preferred MS or PhD and 5 years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- ABET-accredited Bachelor of Science in EE or CE strongly preferred, or equivalent bachelor’s degree with 3+ years related experience
- Coursework in digital integrated circuit design, digital circuit card design, or VLSI design
- High initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in small teams to solve problems
- Experience with VHDL (preferred) or Verilog
- Experience with hardware and software reverse engineering
- Knowledge of stochastic signal processing and digital communications
- Excellent organization, decision making, and verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with Python, C/C++, and/or other programming languages
- Familiarity with Linux and development tools
- Familiarity with code revision control tools (Git, ClearCase, Bitbucket)
- Minimum three (3) years of experience
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Top Secret with SCI security clearance
